Tuition and living costs
BI charges tuition to all degree students. For 2026/27, its Bachelor of Business Administration fee is NOK 138,400 per academic year for applicants from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland. Some residents may qualify for the domestic rate; other programmes have their own fee schedules. BI invoices tuition by semester, and books and living costs are additional.
Scholarships. BI has competitive entrance awards, not automatic discounts. Its Bachelor International Scholarship for autumn 2026 covered 50% of tuition for eligible applicants to Business Administration, Data Science for Business or Digital Business, conditional on continued academic progress. The March 1, 2026 application deadline has passed; check BI’s next intake notice before treating funding as available.
Compare the programme fee, residence-based rate, scholarship eligibility and Oslo living budget before accepting an offer. An unawarded scholarship is not a reduction in the amount you must finance.

Accommodation and student life
Oslo is a modern but expensive city; we'll help you plan a budget and housing.
Upon arrival, the first tasks are registration, a bank account and a transport card — every student gets our step-by-step checklist.
Career after graduation
The strong fields of BI Norwegian Business School are business, finance and business Analytics. As at most universities in Norway, students have access to a career centre, job fairs and internships — use them from the first semesters: hands-on experience is decisive for the first job.
An alternative track is further study: a bachelor’s degree earned in Norway opens master’s programs worldwide, and a master’s strengthens your position on the job market.
