How to apply
Admission via a Foundation year and IELTS. Master's admission is based on your bachelor's degree.
Admission to Monash University takes six months or more; here are the key stages:
- Choose a program (9–12 months ahead). Decide on the field — business, design, architecture and pharmacy — and the level: bachelor’s or master’s. Programs differ in requirements, deadlines and fees.
- Language certificate. Usually IELTS; the exact score depends on the university and program.
- Application. Applications are submitted online; once reviewed, the university sends an offer — with it you can plan finances and housing.
- Student visa and relocation. After the offer, StudyU helps prepare visa or residence-permit documents for Australia; the consular or migration authority makes the decision.
After 11 years of school. Not directly: you need Foundation (a year) or the college Diploma track with transfer straight to year 2 - usually the faster and cheaper option.
