How admission works

Admission is based on your diploma (often via a Foundation year) and an IELTS certificate. Master's admission is based on your bachelor's degree.

We'll help with the Foundation year, documents, language and student visa.

Step by step:

  1. Foundation or Diploma track. After an 11-year school you enter via Foundation (a year) or a college Diploma with direct transfer to year 2 - often faster and cheaper.
  2. Language. IELTS 6.0-6.5; universities offer language modules if the score falls short.
  3. Offer and CoE. After accepting the offer and paying the deposit you receive the Confirmation of Enrolment - the visa's foundation.
  4. Subclass 500 visa. Online: financials, OSHC insurance for the whole stay, GTE statement.
  5. Part-time work. Up to 48 hours per fortnight legally - Australian wages genuinely help the budget.

Your 11-year certificate is enough

There's no direct entry - Australian school runs 12 years. The gap closes via a university Foundation year or the Diploma track: a year of applied college study with automatic transfer straight to second year of the bachelor's. The Diploma route saves both time and money - most students take it. Comparisons - in our study-abroad guide.

Master's degrees in Australia

Bachelor diplomas are accepted directly. Master's runs 1-2 years, and graduates get the Temporary Graduate Visa - several years of work rights, the biggest magnet of Australian education. University scholarships regularly cover 25-50% for internationals.
