Biruni University is a private university on the European side of Istanbul, founded in 2014 with a clear focus on Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and the health sciences. Biruni University educates its students in the heart of Istanbul, where history and modernity intersect. The university is located in Topkapi, while the dormitories are situated nearby. Through partnerships with these dormitories, the university offers a variety of student housing options, including male-only and female-only dormitories, as well as individual and shared rooms accommodating one, three, or four people.

Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy

These degrees lead to different professions and should not be ranked only by price. Medicine involves a long clinical route and later specialisation. Dentistry introduces manual pre-clinical skills earlier and can require a personal instrument set. Pharmacy combines chemistry, biology, production, regulation and patient-facing work.

Health sciences are distinct careers

A two-language plan

An English program supports international literature, but Turkish becomes important in local clinical care. On a Turkish program, maintaining academic English is equally useful for research and international exams. Plan both languages across the degree rather than treating one certificate as the end of preparation.

Budget beyond tuition

Add preparatory study, laboratory clothing, instruments, insurance and possible recognition exams. The $2,250 associate-degree price cannot be compared directly with a six-year medical degree because the level, duration and professional scope differ.
